Pastor Colley Williams
My name is Colley Williams, and I am the Senior Pastor at New Covenant Church of Columbus. I have been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years and am deeply passionate about serving the Lord, our congregation, and everyone who walks through our doors. My heart is to equip each person to stand firm in their faith and to actively exercise the faith they already possess. I especially enjoy teaching and preaching on the themes of faith, hope, and love. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy swimming during the summer, bowling, traveling, and exploring new places, especially on cruise ships, where I get to see different parts of the world. Pastor Danny Davenport
Hey, hey. I’m Danny Davenport and I serve as the worship minister and Co-Pastor at New Covenant Church in Columbus, Georgia, a position I’ve held since 2000. With a deep passion for worship and prayer, I lead with the goal of inspiring the congregation to grow in their spiritual walk and connect more deeply with God. Before moving to Columbus, I served as an Elder and Worship Leader at Hope for All Ministries in McDonald, Tennessee. My ministry is grounded in the belief that every member of the body of Christ is called to serve and play an active role in the church. I try to bring authenticity, joy, and reverence to every service and am dedicated to helping others experience the presence and power of God through worship.
Pastor Sharon Smith
Hello, I am Sharon Smith, and I grew up in Columbus, GA, and have been involved in ministry most of my life. I hold a Doctorate of Pastoral Ministry and joined New Covenant Church of Columbus in 2019. I am passionate about teaching, training, and equipping believers to grow in their faith. My ministry philosophy centers on the Great Commission—loving and serving others as Christ commands. I have traveled to over 20 countries, gaining a deep appreciation for different cultures and cuisines! I enjoy painting, reading, studying scripture, preparing sermons, and trying new coffees. I am a lifelong animal lover; I have one cat named Rocket and previously volunteered with Animal Ark Rescue in Columbus. I also share monthly scripture reading plans to encourage others in their walk with Christ.
Pastor Rhonda Johnson
Blessings! I am Rhonda Johnson and I have been a dedicated member of New Covenant Church of Columbus since 2009. I have served as a Deacon for 12 years and have spent the past four years as one of the church’s Associate Pastors. I am passionate about teaching and helping others discover the goodness of God through His Word and through personal testimony. I also serve in the Food Pantry ministry, where I find joy in giving back to the community in meaningful ways. My heart is to live a life that reflects Christ—extending grace, forgiveness, and love so that others may see His light through me. Outside of ministry, I enjoy reading, relaxing, and spending time with my wife, especially sharing laughs and enjoying the beautiful yard she built for us.
